COLLINSVILLE, Okla. – The man found dead in his driveway with fatal wounds was identified Tuesday.
Around 6 a.m., OSBI reports, a passerby noticed a woman and a vehicle that appeared out of place on the roadway near the 300th block of South 19th Street. The witness called Collinsville police who discovered Brian Floyd, 52, dead in his driveway.
The woman, Sharon Morris, 37, who was found near the vehicle was taken to a hospital in Tulsa for non-life threatening injuries.
OSBI was called to assist in the fatal stabbing investigation and together the agencies found that the pair were reportedly in a “dating relationship.” OSBI says the incident started as a possible domestic situation.
Currently, authorities are investigating the incident as a homicide but the medical examiner’s office has yet to officially determine the cause of death.
Police in Collinsville say they haven't had a homicide in the town for six years.
