Cold temperature in Tulsa has KJRH Facebook fans describing the weather in funny ways

TULSA - Despite the sunshine, clear skies and beautiful fall colors outside, it was cold Thursday.

How cold is it really?

It's as cold as a cow's udder in deep snow. That was according to Barbara Bellati who played along on our Facebook page around lunch time, when it was around 28 degrees.

When you ask people to fill in the blank to tell you it's cold as ___________ out there, you'll get a good laugh at some of the answers.

Sam Henry said it was as cold as "a penguin's toe nails." Yep, I bet those little nails are really cold, Sam.

Rebecca Drake Kamal stayed with the foot theme, and wrote it's as cold as "Eskimos toes."

We asked people to be nice so Vicki Murray, Ronnie Spurgeon and Paul Burson did exactly that, but had different takes on a similar description.

Murray said it was "cold as a well diggers hiney lol."

"A well diggers a##!," according to Spurgeon.

"It's colder than a well diggers shovel," wrote Burson, who said that's what he used to tell his kids, instead of, well, you know.

Naturally, there has to be a Frozen reference when you ask how cold it is, and Kelly Quillman came through in the clutch for us.

"It's as cold as Elsa's soul," she wrote.

This was just some fun in the middle of the day, and Corie Johnson made us literally LOL with his response.

"It's colder than my exs beating heart." And there you have it.
