"Coffee and Conversation" on Oklahoma's growing film industry.
At Circle Cinema on Friday, film and TV professionals talked about the future of films made in Oklahoma.
The local industry has exploded here because of a state rebate program that was doubled last year.
State Rep. Jason Dunnington, who attended the event, proposed a bill this session that would add $50 million to Oklahoma's film industry.
"The film and TV incentive program gives us that opportunity to diversify, to create new jobs, and to really get the robust economic development that we're looking for," Dunnington said.
Right now, there are two films film in, or set to film in Oklahoma.
