CLAREMORE, Okla. - Sometimes our crews in the field end up in the thick of the story.
While covering severe weather in Claremore Tuesday night, 2 Works for You reporter Gitzel Puente and photographer Stephen Owsley found themselves inside a storm shelter to ride out the storm.
And it's no ordinary storm shelter.

It sprung a leak when the rain really started coming down hard, but it was nothing a bucket couldn't handle.

If you're wondering about it being cramped, don't. There were 25 people and five dogs inside, with plenty of room to spare.

And after the 30 minute refuge from the rain, hail and high winds, everyone, including Gitzel and Stephen, climbed out knowing this shelter is a safe place the next time severe weather comes calling.
