The City of Tulsa is looking for some new ideas on managing the Animal Welfare Shelter.
In a few weeks, the city will request "competitive sealed proposals."
Officials say this process will allow qualified, experienced members of the community a chance to have their ideas considered.
Proposals will be evaluated by a team and the city's goal is to have a new system in place by July.
