TULSA, Okla. — The City of Tulsa is working around the clock Sunday night and into Monday morning to clear city streets.
Leon Kragel, an operation supervisor, said the city is focusing on slick spots common in snowy conditions.
"We're trying to treat certain hills and in certain areas like that," Kragel said.
The roads will be treated with salt by another truck once a plow has cleared them.
The City of Tulsa said a driver struck a snowplow vehicle Sunday. Kragel is urging drivers to keep their distance from the equipment.
"They need to just back off, be patient," he said. "We know they're moving slow, but they're trying to also do a job to clear the streets for you."
