City of Tulsa facilities, services closed on Veterans Day 2020

TULSA, Okla. — Veterans Day is November 11, 2020 and several city facilities are closed in observance of the holiday.

CITY HALL
City Hall, Municipal Court and other City of Tulsa facilities are closed for Veterans Day. However, mission critical and public safety are still operating as normal.

WATER & SEWER
Tulsans who need assistance with water or sewer problems can call a 24-hour emergency number at:

Water - 918-596-9488
Sewer - 98-586-6999

TRASH PICK UP
Residential recycling, waste and refuse collection are operating as normal on Nov. 11th, City of Tulsa officials said.

MULCH SITE
Although the City's mulch site is closed on Veterans Day, it will be open with it's normal schedule on Nov. 12th from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is located at 2100 north 145th East Avenue

TULSA ANIMAL WELFARE SHELTER
The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter is closed as well and will reopen also on Nov. 12th with normal business hours.

Monday/Tuesday - Noon to 6 p.m.
Wednesday - Closed
Thursday through Saturday - Noon to 6 p.m.
Sunday - Noon to 4 p.m.

TULSA PARKS

Tulsa Parks recreation centers are closed on Veterans Day. However, the parks' outdoor facilities will remain open on the holiday. Both Oxley Nature Center and Red Bud Valley Nature Preserve are closed on Veterans Day as well, but the Oxley Nature Trails are remaining open.

The Tulsa Zoo, Mohawk Park and Page Belcher golf courses are staying open on Veterans Day.

TULSA TRANSIT

Tulsa Transit system are providing their regular scheduled bus services on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11.
