COFFEYVILLE, Kan. — City of Coffeyville officials are instituting a mandatory evacuation due to high-rising river levels.
On their Facebook page, officials are saying businesses and residents sitting on the flood areas, need to evacuate now.
Anyone who evacuates is told to report to the Red Cross office at 128 West 8th and a shelter is in place at the First Southern Baptist Church, officials said.
Officials said animals are allowed at the shelter.
