City of Broken Arrow to Close Majority of Park Facilities March 27

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The City of Broken Arrow announced Thursday it will close most of the facilities at city-owned parks, effective at 8 a.m., Friday, March 27.

Officials say the facilities shutting down include, playgrounds, swing sets, shelters, sports courts, Nienhuis Skate Park, Rose West Dog Park, park restrooms and drinking fountains.

As long as visitors follow guidelines from the Tulsa County Health Department, officials say city park open spaces, trails, the disc golf course at Nienhuis Park and golf courses will remain open.
