City announces waterline work scheduled for downtown Tuesday, Wednesday

City of Tulsa officials said six businesses will be without water for four to six hours as crews install a 4-inch water service line starting Tuesday night in downtown Tulsa.

Officials said the work will begin at 7 p.m. at 616 S. Boston Ave.

The work will be finished by 6 a.m. Wednesday, officials said.

Officials said Boston Avenue will be closed between East Sixth Street and East Seventh Street which crews install the waterline.

Crews will detour northbound traffic to Main Street and southbound traffic will detour to Cincinnati Avenue, officials said.
