SAND SPRINGS, Okla. - A semi truck driver almost lost an appendage Friday after becoming trapped in the cab of his vehicle following a rollover wreck, says OHP.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol called a surgeon to the scene of a rollover wreck on the Cimarron Turnpike. The driver was successfully extracted from the semi’s cab and taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
Around 7 a.m., the driver was going through a construction zone when it went onto a closed lane and bounced on a guard rail and rolled.
