TULSA — Cameron Bailey is a member of Victory Church.

He was just one of more than 200 kids who got the chance to go to the Tulsa State Fair today for free.

“It still feels good, knowing that I can be out here for free,” Bailey said.

The church tells me a local business man sponsored the tickets, allowing anyone who wanted to go, a chance to experience the fair.

“I want them to know that we care about them,” Pastor Maria said.

Pastor Maria says this is special for her.

“It feels great to be able to be a blessing to these children that have no way of coming to the fair except the church bringing them," Maria siad. "So it’s really a great time.”

Pastor Maria says 70% to 80% of them were there for the first time.

"Some of the kids have no opportunities to come to the fair, because their parents cannot afford to bring them,” Maria said.

Kids like Bailey say they were happy to have the opportunity.

“I am very thankful, because it’s not every day that someone gives you a free pass to the fair," Bailey said. "And it’s sure not everyday someone is willing to do that. That’s why I am thankful,” Bailey said.
