TULSA -- There was chilling testimony in the courtroom on Wednesday, as jurors heard more on the stabbing of six family members.

Michael Bever is charged with killing his parents and three siblings, as well as injuring a sister. A Broken Arrow Detective took the stand saying Bever spoke to officers of how he and his brother planned this for months, inspired by mass shooters and their fame.

The detective said the defendant did not show remorse, but he did tell officers originally he thought his brother was joking so he went along with it. Officers said Bever told them "I was there at the same time. I had to pretend so he wouldn't turn on me."

The debate throughout the day was, of the six stabbings, what was done by Michael compared to his brother Robert. Robert is currently serving consecutive life sentences after pleading guilty. This was brought up multiple times in regards their sister who survived stab wounds.

"You need to take that from the perspective of a 13-year-old child who was in the throes of death with law enforcement trying to figure out what happened to her," district attorney Steve Kunzweiler said.

Jurors also heard from the first nurse to treat this victim. She said the 13-year-old wrote a note as soon as she was conscious saying "Mom. Dad. Two brothers. Two sisters. Two brothers who did this to me."

From here the jury is expected to look at evidence from the crime scene. On Wednesday they saw multiple knives found in the same area where the two brothers were arrested.
