TULSA — A group of children are learning all about the solar system as a part of the Tulsa Air and Space Museum's astronomy summer camp.

The camp covers the properties and powers of the sun, characteristics of the planets and the future of space exploration.

Some of the children tell us they learned new things about our solar system.

"I think its cool, and I didn't know that there was water and ice on other planets besides earth," said Gabby Henderson, who's attending astronomy camp.

And for other kids, the camp only seemed to grow their suspicions about space.

"I want to fly my very own camera into space and prove that these are real planets," said Joseph Krumsiek, camp attendee.

The camp will also teach the children how to find things in the night sky.
