TULSA — Children are getting up close and personal with different vehicles around Green Country as a part of Brookside Library's "Touch a Truck" program.
On Monday morning, children were able to go inside a SWAT truck, ambulance, recycling truck, school bus and more.
Organizers say it helps kids explore careers.
"It's a big world out there," said Dana Henson, Youth Librarian at Tulsa City-County Library. "They're getting to see what a lot of people do for a living. They're getting to ask a lot of questions."
Families were able to join the summer reading program and enjoy live music.
