TULSA - A child is recovering in the hospital Monday night after being hit by a car in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
Police say the 3-year-old child was struck by a car at the Village East Apartments near 2200 116th East Avenue Monday evening.
The child was taken to the hospital and is expected to be ok. Police are searching for the driver of the vehicle who fled the seen just after the crash.
