TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — According to Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, deputies are currently looking for 56-year-old David Ward who was reported as missing Thursday morning.

Ward has been described as a 5' 8" male with red hair and blue eyes, deputies say.

He was reported missing in the early hours Thursday after not arriving to a family member's home the night before.

Deputies say that Ward uses a walking cane and carries a backpack, but both were located at his home.

Deputies say they searched his home and the area surrounding it, in southwest Tahlequah, but have been unsuccessful in finding Ward.

Anyone with information of Ward's location or anyone who is in contact with Ward is asked to call Cherokee County Sheriff's Office at 918-456-2583.
