Rogers Co. family search for missing loved ones

Posted

A Roger's County family is pleading with the public to help them find a missing mother and her child.

Ginnie Rivaux and Anna Baldus last made contact with their family on September 13th. Rivaux's family says Ginnie, her boyfriend, James Isbell, and Anna left Chelsea for Texas this summer. They were looking for a life with more opportunity.

But now Ginnie and Anna are nowhere to be found and their family is fearing the worst.

"She's my sister. She's always been there," said Donna.

Donna and her family say Ginnie and Anna's disappearance has left a large void. They believe the man that's with them, James Isbell, could be behind it.

“He acted odd. Everything was secret,” said Rivaux's grandmother, Virginia Laster.

Rivaux lived with Laster in Chelsea with Isbell before they left for Texas.

It was hot checks that started turning up back in Chelsea that led the family to believe something was wrong. Now Anna hasn't showed up in any school registrations and no activity has been recorded on their cell phones. They believe Isbell isn't who he says he is.

“Everything comes to mind what could happen or what could've happened and not knowing who he is makes it worse,” said Donna.

“It's taken its toll on me. I know it,” said Debbie Reed, Rivaux's mother.

Now the family is working with the Allen Police Department in Texas on their missing persons case. They are working with the Chelsea Police Department on the hot check investigation.

They hope to have answers and their loved ones soon.

“I'd go to the ends of the earth for her at this point...just to talk to her for 5 minutes I would be happy,” said Donna. “I would give anything just to see them.”

The family is currently working to get an amber alert sent out for Anna because they believe she's in danger. They have also set up a Facebook page to raise public awareness. If you have info on their whereabouts, call police.
