CATOOSA, Okla. — The Catoosa Police Department is getting into the holiday spirit by handing out gift cards to drivers.
The department wrote on its Facebook page Saturday that instead of writing citations, they handed out gift cards.
Police gave out twenty $50 gift cards during traffic stops on Saturday.
"Hopefully this will help these individuals have a great Christmas. We have a great town that we live and work in," the department wrote.
