Catoosa Police arrested a man suspected of burglarizing a home on Sunday evening and stealing property.

Officers responded to the 1100 block of North 177th East Ave around 7 p.m.

They said the homeowner had received an alert on his phone when his home alarm went off, so he raced to check it out and found a vehicle he didn't recognize on his driveway.

He said the white Chevy Tahoe and a Cadillac Escalade front end with two females inside took off from his home and left a man behind.

Officers caught up with the man who was running away from the home, wearing flip flops, and questioned him. During the investigation, they discovered he had burglary tools and stolen items from the home.

They booked the suspect at the Rogers County Jail.

Detectives are looking at the possibility of the man being connected to a series of burglaries that have occurred in the city in the past month.

At this time, the search continues for the white Tahoe.
