Broken Arrow man arrested after 4-hour standoff

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - A four-hour standoff ended Sunday with an arrest in Broken Arrow.

The standoff took place near Oak and Poplar Avenue. Broken Arrow police responded to a domestic disturbance at about 3:30 Sunday morning.

Police arrested 37-year-old Charles Manley after officers say he held his girlfriend at knife point in a garage.

Paramedics checked out the female victim and she is expected to be okay. Manley was arrested for assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping and obstruction.
