New app allows Broken Arrow residents to report non-emergency issues

Posted

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. -- In an effort to make reporting non-emergency issues easier, the City of Broken Arrow has launched a new digital service.

According to the city, the new service allows residents to provide photos, videos and specific descriptions of issues like potholes and streetlight outages to help crews get the job done more efficiently.

“Action Center - Broken Arrow is an incredible new tool to help the community and City Hall more effectively address non-emergency, day-to-day concerns,” said City Manager Michael Spurgeon. “While it will not replace traditional contact with employees, it will give citizens another option to report non-emergency issues when it’s convenient for them, not just when City Hall is open.”

The service allows residents to view, comment on and vote to fix problems submitted by their neighbors.

The app is available for free on iTunes and Google Play.
