Many local store owners participate in the “Buy Broken Arrow” program because of the impact it can have on their businesses.
Celebrating it's 21st year, the “Buy BA” program has become one of the community's top holiday shopping traditions and people from all over the city come to participate in order to enter in the grand prize raffle.
This year, the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce gave out $15,000 in prizes and the numbers were released Tuesday afternoon.
President of the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce, Wes Smithwic, says holding on to your ticket even if it was not called on the first day of the raffle may be a good idea.
“We've gone up to ten days before someone claimed the $10,000 prize. Hang on to your ticket, it may be called in the next 48 hours after the initial drawing," Smithwic said.
