BROKEN ARROW, Okla. -- Broken Arrow Police have identified a man they say allegedly shot and killed his father Friday night.

Around 5:30 Friday night, police responded to the 7500 block of South Maple Avenue to investigate a shooting.

The man who placed the call to 911 told dispatchers he shot his father. The suspect, 34-year-old Jacob Krafft, told police he and his father got into an argument when his father pulled out a knife.

During the argument, Krafft told police he shot his father in the hip. The victim later died.

Krafft was arrested and transported to the Broken Arrow City Jail.

This is Broken Arrow's second homicide of 2016.
