BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Gardeners are encouraging citizens to stop and smell the roses at the upcoming festival.
The Rose Festival is scheduled for Saturday May, 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Dallas East of Main near the Farmers’ Market.
Master gardeners will be judging the free rose entries from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., so put those green thumbs to work and show off your beautiful roses.
Judging concludes at noon and there are over $1,000 in cash prizes.
Festival organizers also say there will be activities for kids, various vendors and live music.
