BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The Broken Arrow City Council approved a proclamation to limit or close businesses due to COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus.
By 11:59 Friday, bars must close. Dine-in restaurants must also shut their doors unless converted to to-go or delivery-only.
The announcement was made during an emergency meeting Thursday in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
Broken Arrow's mayor says the decision was made to help stop the virus's spread.
