UPDATE: BROKEN ARROW POLICE SAY THE INTERSECTION OF 101ST AND GARNETT IS OPEN IN ALL DIRECTIONS. — UPDATE: Broken Arrow Police say the intersection of 101st and Garnett is open in all directions.


Broken Arrow Police have shut down two major roads due to the overnight storm.

Authorities have closed 101st and Garnett in all directions after roads flooded overnight leaving several feet of standing water.

Police tell us one car had already flooded out overnight.

The area is closed until the water recedes and the crews can clean up the intersection.

Police have also closed South Elm Place between Vandever Boulevard to West Edgewater street after a power line falls across the road.

Right now there is no estimate when either roads will reopen.

Police are asking drivers to avoid the areas.
