BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — One person is in the hospital after being stabbed during a fight at a Sonic in Broken Arrow on Thursday.
Broken Arrow police responded to a shot fired and a stabbing call to the Sonic located near 81st and Garnett.
Broken Arrow Police Department says detectives have determined a fight broke out between two groups: three men, and another man and woman. They discovered the fight was not random and both groups knew each other.
During the fight, one of the three men from the first group was stabbed. Another man from the first group retrieved a gun from their vehicle and fired several shots at the other man wielding the knife. No one was injured in the shooting.
Several of the suspects immediately fled from the scene. Officers have not made any arrests at this time.
The stabbing victim is at a local hospital undergoing surgery. His condition is currently unknown.
