Broken Arrow Police investigating Friday night car jacking

BROKEN ARROW, Okla — January 22nd Broken Arrow Police responded to reports of a car jacking near the area of West Kenosha and North Aspen Ave.

According to the report, the victim was in her driveway getting ready to leave for work when she was approached by an armed suspect.

The victim was pulled from her vehicle before she was assaulted by the suspect.

The suspect is described as a 20 to 30 year-old black male wearing a black jacket, black pants and white shoes and carrying a green and brown camouflage backpack.

He is approximately 6’02” tall and 170 pounds. He is believed to be in possession of a handgun.

The Tulsa Police Department located and recovered the stolen vehicle.

A person of interest has been detained, we will update as more information becomes available.
