BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Broken arrow police reveals an inside look at their brand new crime lab.

The department says the new lab has more than doubled the size of their old one.

Officials say there's enough space to work on more than one case at a time without cross contamination and process evidence faster.

"They are able to process fingerprints, photos, vehicles," said Chris Walker with the Broken Arrow Police Department. "They have a dedicated vehicle bay which really helps efficiency out."

The bond package also helped BAPD get the ability to process video evidence from the field, like items from ring doorbells, cell phone video and pictures, instead of going back to the station to do it.
