A different kind of rally was held today in Broken Arrow's Rose District, this one focused on kindness.
The rally was organized by a 7-year-old who wanted a place for children and families to share some kindness with each other.
Aiely Gianna is the girl responsible for gathering dozens of people in Broken Arrow .
Aiely started planning the rally after seeing the death of George Floyd and the protests about it around the world on TV.
She wanted to do something so she contacted the mayor of Broken Arrow.
Aiely asked the speakers she invited to talk about how to change the community by caring for others and speaking out positively when something you see is wrong.
“They all needed to know that they should be kind and not to send bad messages”, Aiely says.
After the speeches were over, Aiely lead them on a two block march where they chanted "never too small to show kindness to all".
When the march ended they came back to where they started to write positive messages for people walking by to see.
