BROKEN ARROW, Okla. -- Hazmat teams deployed inside a lab in Broken Arrow Friday morning after a sulfuric acid spill.
Hazmat crew were called to assist Broken Arrow Fire Department crews at Element Materials at 3100 North Hemlock Circle, near South 145th East Ave and the Broken Arrow Expressway around 7:30 a.m.

Broken Arrow Fire officials said someone was testing eight ounces of a low-concentrated sulfuric acid within a vent hood when a hot plate broke. Eight ounces of low concentration acid spilled.
