BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Broken Arrow officials are monitoring the conditions.

The city has 14 trucks and plows with spreaders ready to clear roads. Fleet mechanics are available for the trucks as needed, and Streets department personnel is scheduled through the weekend and will continue working on shifts throughout the weather event.

Arterial and collector roadways, along with the hospital and public safety are the top priorities.

We have a standby crew ready for response to any traffic signal problems, fallen trees and debris removal on public streets.

Trash Collection

During the current winter weather event, all trash and recycling will be picked up together and processed as general refuse until conditions improve. Services can be expected to run late and if not completed, will be resumed the following weekday morning as conditions permit.

Inaccessible roads with steep and/or slick hills may not get serviced until trucks can safely travel the roads. Please be patient as employees are working long hours. Customers will get serviced as quickly as it is safe to do so.
