BRISTOW, Okla. — In Bristow, Oklahoma, U.S. Army veteran Stephen Carter has been awarded a new Kubota tractor for his dedicated service in the military and community.

Carter was selected from a pool of more than 400 Farmer Veteran Coalition Fellowship Fund applicants across the nation.

Kubota's “Geared to Give” program, in partnership with the Farmer Veteran Coalition, provides U.S. military veterans the necessary equipment to pursue farming.

Carter, who served two tours in Afghanistan, and his wife, Lola, own and operate Twisted Acres Farm, a 45-acre dairy goat operation where they also raise cows and pigs.

The new tractor will allow the Carters to expand their beef and pork operations.
