TULSA – Not long after being installed, the City of Tulsa has temporarily suspended the pay-by-tag parking meters in the Brady Arts District.
According to the City of Tulsa, the meters will be suspended starting Sept. 9 as new signs are installed to instruct customers on how to use them properly.

Installation of the signs is expected to start Sept. 24.
The City says parking inspectors will continue to issue tickets to those in violation of the two hour limited parking or the “no parking to curb” on weekdays. They went on to say that they will not issue parking citations for “lack of payment.”
Visitors to the area are allowed to use the parking spots but will not be charged during the temporary period before the signs are put in place.
However, fees will be enforced when the signs are installed. In the meantime, the meters will be hooded to indicate they are not in use.
