STILLWATER - Oklahoma State announced their basketball program's new head coach, Monday.
Brad Underwood will be the program's 19th men's basketball coach. Athletic Director Mike Holder made the announcement, which comes three days after former coach Travis Ford's firing.
Ford served as head coach for eight seasons.
Underwood will be introduced to OSU fans and media at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
He went 89-14 in three seasons with Stephen F. Austin. His Lumberjacks knocked off West Virginia in the NCAA Tournament last week and nearly reached the Sweet 16, but were eliminated by Notre Dame on a tip-in in the game's final seconds.
