OKLAHOMA CITY — Bodycam footage from the Penn Square Mall shooting in Oklahoma City shows a chaotic scene as police responded, according to KFOR in Oklahoma City.
In December 2019, on a Thursday afternoon, as shoppers were getting their last minute shopping completed prior to the holiday season, a man opened fire at the Penn Square Mall.
The body cam footage shows officers pulling up after reports of gunshots.
Investigators say it started with a fight between two people who knew each other.
Police say the two people got into an argument at a shoe store inside the mall, located near North Pennsylvania Avenue and Northwest Expressway. At some point during the argument, someone pulled out a gun and shot the other person in the chest.
