SKIATOOK, Okla. – The body of the man reported missing recently after reportedly drowning has been located, says the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

After searching for days, OHP says the body was located Tuesday morning around 7. Chance Humble, 36, was found around 200 yards down to the lake shore away from the Highway 20 bridge.

Humble was believed by authorities to have drowned in the Skiatook Lake on the Fourth of July. Witnesses near Humble at the time of the incident claim that he was swimming in an area of around 35 feet of water when he went under and never resurfaced.

OHP officials say Humble was not wearing a life jacket.
