CHEROKEE COUNTY, Okla. -- A body was found in northern Cherokee County on Tuesday.
The body was found near Rocky Ford State Park and may be connected to a missing persons case in Mayes County.
Cherokee County Undersheriff Jason Chennault said the body was found at about 10 a.m.
Family members of a missing 23-year-old man believe the body was found in the area where the man had been reported missing.
