PITTSBURG COUNTY, Okla. — The Pittsburg County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a body was found at a cemetery on Thursday morning.
The body, which KFOR reports was badly beaten and partially burned, was discovered at about 8 a.m. in the road near the Red Oaks Cemetery.
Officials said the victim was a man between 40 to 55 years old. Police said the victim was wearing pajamas and a gold wedding band.
The man has not been identified at this time.
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation detectives are also involved in the investigation of the death.
