SAND SPRINGS, Okla. (AP) -- The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office says a man's body has been found in Big Heart Creek near Sand Springs.
Deputy Justin Green told reporters that a person taking a walk along the creek discovered the body around 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
Green says there were no obvious signs of foul play and that a suspected cause of death has not been determined. Detectives say the death is suspicious and is being investigated as a homicide.
The man is described only as a white male, possibly in his 40s.
