MUSKOGEE COUNTY, Okla.- Muskogee County Sheriff's Office is searching for a vehicle belonging to a man found in the Canadian River Monday.

Investigators say they are searching for a 1998, two door Dodge pickup with Oklahoma license plate 029-QIF.

The truck is silver with a purple insert in the middle.

The victim found on the river on the Fourth of July is 44-year-old Jack Warren of Muskogee, says the sheriff’s office.

Initially the incident was being investigated as a possible drowning after he washed ashore. On Tuesday, however, officials announced the investigation was being classified as a homicide.

The body was examined by the medical examiner’s office who determined the injuries seemed suspicious.

Investigators are still awaiting the medical examiner’s official report to determine the cause and manner of death.

If you  have any information regarding the truck you are asked to call Muskogee County Sheriff investigators at 918-687-1275.
