TULSA – Investigators are looking into the cause of death for a body discovered by someone who was fishing in the area.
Tulsa police were called to the Kum-N-Go at 21st and Sheridan where the met with a man who led them to a body. The man told officers he had been fishing and found a body in the woods near Pine and Highway 169.
Investigators responded to the scene, just west of the off-ramp on Highway 169 southbound onto westbound Interstate 244.
The person appeared to have been dead for quite some time, according to police.
