ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. - Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers were able to locate the body of a boater who went missing in Oologah Lake.
Family members have identified the man as George Baker Jr., 81. According to family members, Baker went to the lake to practice for a fishing tournament later Monday night.
OHP was contacted by the victim of the crash who stated he was struck by a boat at a high rate of speed. The victim said he was out fishing and was moving to a new location when he heard an oncoming boat.
After the two boats crashed into each other, the victim says he tried to locate Baker, but was unable to.
The man struck by the boat was uninjured.
