Shoppers across the Tulsa metro are snagging deals in the few stores that are open early for Black Friday.
It has been a constant sea of traffic with shoppers coming out with big boxes and bags full of items on sale.
Doors at Best Buy opened at 5 p.m. and some people said they waited outside for a couple of hours.
Not far from here at Target, there were also a lot of people going in and out of the store tonight. Doors also opened at 5 p.m. and they'll be closing at 1 a.m. before they reopen at 7 a.m. Friday.
Kohl's is another store open Thursday and will remain open until 1 p.m. Friday.
We talked to a shopper who found some good deals on a PlayStation and TVs, but he said he spent more than he anticipated.
"Enough where I'm going to have to recuperate a couple paychecks in order to be prepared for Christmas," he said.
He's one of millions of Americans spending money this Thanksgiving weekend, which started Thursday and goes through Cyber Monday.
The average shopper will spend an average of about $554.
Best buy closes at 1 a.m. Friday and will reopen at 8 a.m.
