Residents in one eastern Oklahoma town came across a surprising visitor in their neighborhood this weekend.
The Poteau Police Department received a call on Sunday about a black bear wondering through the town.
Police were able to locate it and made sure it stayed away from people until additional help arrived.
Wildlife officers were able to tranquilize the bear and take it to a new home.
