BIXBY -- A Bixby woman is disgusted after she says a nasty note was left on her car in the parking lot of a Reasor's grocery store.

Three little words can make a huge impact, even for a mother at the grocery store.

"It really made me quite angry," Ashley Morgan said. "It said, 'Are you retarded?'"

"I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome," she said. "It makes my collagen extremely stretchy and my bones and joints pop out."

Morgan was doing her weekly shopping at Reasor's on Tuesday. Her husband parked in the handicap spot, like usual. The couple came out to a note on their car. It was stuck between the windshield wiper.

"Are you retarded? Think before you park," Morgan said. "I have several invisible illnesses and not everybody knows what's going on, and you don't know from person to person just because of the way they look."

Morgan's handicap sign is front and center. You can't miss it.

"You don't know what I'm going through," Morgan said.

Reasor's sent 2 Works for You a statement:

"Reasor's understands and respects the requirements of those with special needs and we comply fully with all ADA requirements in our stores. Our goal at Reasor's is to give access to any individual with disabilities or special needs."

"Think about what you say before you speak," Morgan said.

It's a feeling she doesn't want anyone to feel again.
