BIXBY — According to Bixby Public Schools superintendent, the school identified a malware attack involving the middle school and athletic facility Thursday.
The superintendent says that Bixby Schools identified a malware problem.
The IT department had been monitoring it for the last week.
The superintendent says about 100 computers in the middle school and athletic facility were affected.
Those computers were taken off the system, the superintendent says. He says they were trying to hack into the network.
A third party vendor is cleaning everything as they were able to catch it early enough that it wasn't a huge issue.
