Officials say Bixby Public Schools will host a groundbreaking on their new Bixby West Elementary and Intermediate schools Wednesday.
The two schools will share a building, but will operate separately, officials said.
Officials say the schools will have new security features, including visitors having to scan their driver's licenses before entering past locked doors.
