BIXBY, Okla. -- Bixby detectives are working to identify a man who they said stole an engagement ring Wednesday.
Bixby police officers responded to the incident at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at a business in the area of 8200 East 101st Street.
The man, who said his name was Tony, told employees inside the business that he wanted to spend about $7,500 on an engagement ring.
An employee provided the man a ring, at which point he ran away.
The man, who police said had gold teeth and short braids, was described as being 5 feet 11 inches tall and about 175 pounds.
